American Marketing Association to Host Annual Regional Conference

The American Marketing Association (AMA) will host their annual regional conference on Friday, November 2, 2018 in BUS 111 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The conference is open to all Ferris students and all AMA members. The cost is $10 for anyone who would like to compete or eat, but is otherwise free to attend. Business professional attire is encouraged.
Speakers at the conference will discuss their experiences in the business world, knowledge development during their careers, and how students can set themselves up to be successful. The speakers include Stephanie Beltinick, Eric Hultgren, Jeffrey Staats, Erik Lyman, and Jake Himmelspach.
Additionally, Jeffrey Staats is hosting a workshop to focus on the “new” mobile experience and understanding how to add mobile to an existing marketing strategy. Colleen Cartwright is hosting the other workshop about “networking for introverts” and gaining confidence to start a conversation. The workshops begin at 1:00 p.m.
The Sales Competition and the Strategy Competition begins at 9:30 a.m. and the winners will be announced at 4:30 p.m. Anyone who is interested in Marketing is encouraged to register and attend.
To compete in the Sales Competition or the Marketing Strategy Competition register online and pay $10 to Dr. Brotherton in BUS 354 or to @ama-ferris on Venmo. There will be cash prizes for the winners.
