American Marketing Association Achieves Multiple Awards

Our Ferris American Marketing Association (AMA) chapter has been included in the Top 25 in the nation, ranked 11 out of 365 chapters.

AMA also raked in multiple awards at this year’s Collegiate Case Competition in New Orleans:

  • They took second place nationally in the case competition for their 25-minute presentation to Hershey executives responding to this year’s case, Hershey Cool Blast Chews. Ferris AMA had been notified in January that they’d made the Top Ten, and the right to compete at the conference, out of 91 competing schools.
  • The Ferris AMA conference booth, displaying games, pictures from the year, and other items related to the conference theme, took second place.
  • A redesign and update of the Ferris AMA website was deemed fifth in the nation
  • The team of Josh Van Gorden and Steven Sims made it into the Top 15 of the strategy competition.
