Professional activities and areas of interest
Amie Calhoun has been employed at Ferris since spring 2015. She has worked in higher education for 13 years in a variety of areas including admissions/recruitment, orientation, and most recently academic advising. She is a professional advisor in the School of Criminal Justice, serving over 300 students. She is also co-chair of the professional advising group on campus, and an active member of the National Association of Academic Advising (NACADA), and the Michigan Academic Advising Association (MIACADA). She enjoys working with her students because they are also passionate about helping others!
