Professional activities and areas of interest
Mrs. Dorey teaches courses in Hospitality Management including Sanitation and Safety, Dining Room Management, and Special Event & Meeting Planning. She focuses instruction on real life applications based upon her experiences in the hospitality industry and is a Certified Hospitality Educator through the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute. As the faculty advisory for the FSU Student Chapters of National Association of Catering Executives and Professional Convention Management Association, Amy emphasizes the importance for students to begin building a professional network and a strong set of skills for lifelong learning during their academic career. She enjoys working with students and values her position as a faculty advisor for the program’s highly successful annual fundraising gala.
