Professional activities and areas of interest

Andrew Tingley currently teaches courses in Online Media Management and Remote Video Production for the Television and Digital Media Production program, where he utilizes Adobe Creative Cloud and draws on his business experiences to prepare students for the industry.

He works part time at his video production company, Cinerrific!, doing cinematography, post-production, and commercial and promotional work for organizations in the Grand Rapids area. Andrew is also currently working towards a Master’s degree at Southern New Hampshire University. His industry experience includes 13+ years of working full time at his video production company, speaking at the Media Communications Film Festival, and past involvement in the Media Communications Association (of which he was formerly president).

He hopes to integrate his business background into his teaching, by advising students interested in working in the Grand Rapids area or beyond. He strives to equip his students to take on any industry job from freelancer to production company owner.

In his spare time, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife and four kids. He also enjoys camping, skiing and woodworking.
