Professional activities and areas of interest

Professor Komara joined Ferris State University’s Criminal Justice program as an adjunct faculty member in the fall of 2007. During his 26-year career in public safety, he has served in multiple roles and command level positions. In his civilian life, he is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in Michigan and the US District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and is elected to the State Bar of Michigan Representative Assembly. He is also president and CEO of a franchise holding company and has served on various related boards. In his personal time, he plays golf, spends time with his family, and enjoys traveling.
