Professional activities and areas of interest
Clay teaches for the Accounting Department and focuses on Management Accounting.
Previously, Clay had a 30-year career, as a Business owner, Controller, and CFO. He has held positions in Venture-capital startups, Mid-Cap and Fortune 100 organizations within a variety of industries including: Automotive, Biotech, Electronics, and Specialty chemicals, as well as working with the Federal Government. He has multicultural experience through Expat assignments and business relationships in Mexico, South America, Europe, India, Japan, South Korea, and China.
Outside of teaching Clay enjoys playing ice hockey, skiing, kayaking, and biking. As an ASA certified captain, he is afforded the opportunity to sail throughout the world.
