Professional activities and areas of interest
Dr. Green has spent the majority of her professional career in the academic world serving as both a faculty member and an administrator. For eleven years she served at the University of Windsor, in Ontario, Canada, as a Marketing professor engaging in teaching, research and service.
She then worked as an academic administrator at several Michigan universities leading faculty development, serving as an academic dean, and, as a member of the Provost Leadership Team, worked with faculty to enhance and implement academic personnel and policies and procedures to hire, develop, evaluate, reward and promote faculty. She has been honored with a Teaching Excellence Award from both the Academy of Marketing Science and the Academy of Business Administration.
Dr. Green has published in the Journal of Marketing and the Journal of Marking Education. In addition, she is a peer reviewer for the Higher Learning Commission, has served on the Board and as President of the American Marketing Association Detroit Chapter, and served three years on the Executive Board of Michigan ACE Women Leaders in Higher Education.
