Ferris CIT Program Ranked in the Top 25 Programs in the Nation

Ferris State University Computer Information Technology program is in the top 25 programs in the nation.  

The programs are ranked by the Bachelor’s Degree Center editors. They research accredited programs with specific IT specializations – preferably ABET-accredited computer science schools. From there, schools were ranked programs according to five criteria: Cost, Reputation, Alumni Salary, Graduation Rate, and Job Placement. Read the full report here.

The College of Business at Ferris State University provides career-oriented education, responding for over 100 years to the changing needs of the business world. The curriculum prepares graduates to deal with real issues as members and leaders of tomorrow’s workforce. 

The CIT-SAS curriculum provides a broad understanding of core business functions, in addition to specific skills required for industry certifications like CompTIA, A+, Network+, Linux+, Security+, and Microsoft’s MCITP or MCTS certifications. Students must pass the CompTIA’s A+ certification and two other industry certifications (choosing from MCITP, Network+, Linux+, Security+, CNA, or CCNA) to graduate from the CIT-SAS program. To learn more about the CIT program at Ferris visit:
