Ferris Student Project Management Team

May 27, 2020

The Ferris State University Project Management team competed in the Western Michigan Project Management Institute’s (WMPMI) annual collegiate project management competition.

The team was comprised of five students: Jodi Carvil, Katrina Droski, Mark Jacobs, Sawyer Maxson, and Marta Schick. Each member of the team was awarded $250 in prize money.

They were tasked with creating a bachelor’s degree program in project management. This project scenario coincided with Ferris’ plan to launch a bachelor’s degree program in project management. This allowed for an exchange of ideas between the team and those involved in the launch of the major at Ferris.
