First Annual Internship Awareness Day
September 23, 2015
The College of Business Internship Office and College of Business Deans Office will be co-hosting the first annual Internship Awareness Day on Thursday, Sept. 24.
“The purpose of Internship Awareness Day is to provide an informal way for employers to network with Ferris students,” said College of Business Internship Coordinator Paul Kwant.
Internship Awareness Day will feature over 20 employers with extensive business backgrounds and experience. Employers will be available to assist students in a hands-on learning experience. Employers will provide resume critiques, internship tips-and-tricks, and networking advice. All of which, can lead to potential internship opportunities.
“Students should take every opportunity they can to connect with employers. There is no excuse for students not to attend Internship Awareness Day… Students should invest in their future,” Kwant said.
The event will be held in the IRC Connector from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Professional attire is highly recommended.
