Program Ranks in National Top 25 for Cybersecurity

A recent study sponsored by Hewlett Packard ranked Ferris’s Information Security and Intelligence program in the top 25 nationally for cybersecurity education.

The colleges and universities were judged using five criteria:

  • Academic excellence
  • Practical relevance
  • Program faculty experience and expertise
  • Student and alumni experience and background
  • Professional reputation in the cybersecurity community

Based on a weighted rank, Ferris State University ties with the University of Minnesota and outshines several noteworthy schools including the University of Illinois, Indiana University, Johns Hopkins University, and Boston University. Within Michigan, Ferris is ranked as the leading educational institution for cybersecurity.
